Here is a project from a small group who traveled to ten locations within a 90-minute drive from downtown Portland, Oregon. The magnificent showcase of landscapes all captured from highway pull-offs to backcountry overnighters, and sunny coastlines to snowy mountains. Moral of the story there is something for everyone, everywhere, waiting to be explored.

No matter where you live, adventure is much closer than you think. New experiences, unknown surroundings, and exciting opportunities are just waiting to be discovered. Sometimes all it takes is a bit of motivation and knowing where to start.

Sparrow for iPhone

Although I’m a new user to the popular e-mail client Sparrow, I have to say I pretty stoked they are now offering the app for the iPhone as a solid alternative to Apple’s restrictive Mail app. The iPhone app has the clean and uncluttered interface as its desktop sibling and adds the efficiency of the iPhone’s touch interface. There is one feature that stopped Sparrow from being the perfect email client for the iPhone, that being push support. It’s available at the App Store for $2.99.

The early years of Audi Motorsport consisted of the quattro permanent four-wheel drive. The German brand is now taking the next step with its R18 e-tron quattro model. This announcement also makes the e-tron quattro the first diesel hybrid in the Le Mans endurance race.

“To develop the hybrid technology for Le Mans is at least as ambitious and challenging as our diesel project was in its early stages,” explains Head of Audi Motorsport Dr. Wolfgang Ullrich. “The first test results are very encouraging and we are intrigued to see just how this technology performs in combination with our ultra lightweight technology on the race track at Le Mans.”
