<blockquote><p>Some cities come to mind straight away when you think of craft and design, but it&#8217;s also true that untapped markets offer opportunities for entrepreneurship. The <em>Monocle Briefings</em> talks with designers and artisans in Shanghai, Bradford, Winter Park in Florida and Nový Bor in the Czech Republic, who are reclaiming neglected traditions, adding a contemporary twist and attracting a new, global market.</p></blockquote>

Mishka co-owners speak on what it was like struggling to build their brand in the competitive world that is the Big Apple.
